Starting Your Allied Health Private Practice Going

Welcome to your upgraded SLP or allied health private practice. Nice to meet you. My name is Asya Krengauz, MS, CCC-SLP. I’m here to write content that ranks and helps you bring in your ideal clients. This is my new blogging section, I’ll be giving you tips and tricks to help your private practice soar.

As SLPs or other healthcare providers, what do we learn in school about business? Nothing. Nada. Zip. Zero. Or at least that’s the experience most SLP private practice owners go through. It ain’t pretty.

We are told the sky’s the limit. As SLPs, we can work in schools, hospitals, nursing homes, private practices, have our own private practices, and more. Some even work in prisons! Cool, right? Except we have no tools to start our personal business.

That’s why I started this venture. I’ve been there. I had no idea what the hell to do. How do you get clients? How do you make a website? What do you write on the website? Did I mention, “How do you get clients”?

Consequently, I set out to learn everything I could about content marketing and SEO and as it turns out, I liked that a whole lot more than running my private practice. Knowing all I’ve learned starting my own private practice, I can help you start yours.

Content creation/writing is my love. But I don’t want to just bring in clients to your private practice. I want to bring in your ideal clients! Isn’t that what you went into private practice for? I’m sure you didn’t go in to work with diagnoses you have no interest in. Correct?
